AS a pupil of Usutu Forests Primary School, I Pledge:

• To behave responsibly at all times.
• To be considerate and respectful towards others.
• To ensure that my appearance is consistently neat and tidy.
• To extend the hand of friendship and support to pupils, teachers and parents and those I meet.
• To be diligent in my studies and committed to the ethos and well being of my school.

1. General Behaviour

(a)  Learners of Usutu Forests Primary School are expected to show respect for their parents, teachers and seniors
      and display the utmost courtesy to the school at all times.

(b)  When a teacher, visitor or parent enters the classroom, the class captain or appointed monitor 
      should formally greet the teacher, visitor or parent.

(c)  Learners must greet parent’s teachers and adults along corridors or any vicinity of the school.

(d)  Courtesy should also be extended at all times to Admin, Grounds and Cleaning staff.

(e)  Learners may not leave the school premises during school hours without permission from the Headmaster. 

(f)  Medical or dental appointments should, whenever possible, be scheduled in the afternoon.
      Learners will be permitted to attend appointments during school hour, upon written notification
      from the parent or guardian. 

(g)  No improper language will be tolerated. 

(h)  Chewing gum and bubble gum are not allowed on school premises.
